Processing of personal data

1.1 Visit our website

When you visit our website, we automatically collect and store certain data, such as IP address, device ID and type of your end device, type and version of the browser you are using, operating system, referrer URL, your user activities on our website and the time and duration of use.

We require this information for the purpose of transmitting the content you have requested (texts, images, file downloads, etc.), to make the website available, to improve our website, its functions and security and for general administrative tasks.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legitimate interest lies in the error-free operation of this website, ensuring and improving its functionality and tailoring our offering to the needs of users.

We store this data for a maximum of 30 days to detect and prosecute misuse. Otherwise, we delete or anonymize the usage data including the IP addresses immediately as soon as they are no longer required for the above-mentioned purposes.

1.2 Use of the contact form

You have the option of contacting us via the contact form on our website. If you use the contact form, we store and process the personal data you enter in the form.

The processing of this data serves us solely to process the contact and your request. If necessary for the processing of your request, your contact data may be forwarded to third parties (e.g. partner companies).

The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Processing the contact and your request also constitutes our legitimate interest in data processing.  

We only store and process the data you enter for as long as is necessary to process your request. This does not apply if statutory retention obligations prevent deletion in individual cases. In this case, the data will be deleted in accordance with the statutory retention obligations.

The data is processed for the purpose of compliance with legal obligations (obligation to provide evidence pursuant to Art. 7 para. 1 GDPR) and the associated documentation of consent and thus on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) GDPR. Local storage is used to store the data.

The consent data is stored for 1 year. The storage takes place in the European Union.

You can adjust the acceptance of cookies at any time by accessing the settings  here.

In individual cases, your data may also be transferred to a third country outside the EU or the EEA. However, we only transfer personal data to third countries for which the EU Commission has determined an adequate level of data protection by decision in accordance with Art. 45 GDPR, we provide suitable guarantees to protect your data in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR, or if you have expressly consented to the transfer to the respective third country in accordance with Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

If the processing is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
